To improve performance of your PowerScan software, it is recommended that you add a few folders to the exceptions list of your anti-virus. These folders are located on your computer at:
- C:\Program Files(x86)\PowerScan xxxx [64-bit] or
- C:\Progam Files\PowerScan xxxx [32 bit]
- C:\Program Data\PowerScan XXXX
To ensure maximum speeds using Auto-Scan, it is also recommended that the target folder for these scans is added. This is typically the My Scans folder on your desktop, but it could also be the network share or other folder you are saving your ScanPro images to.
