Stars Information Solutions is a state of Texas HUB certified full-service document management provider specializing in the automation of business processes.

We provide document conversion services in our secure, HIPAA compliant San Antonio-based service bureau. We sell and fully support document capture software and hardware including document, check, and microfilm scanners that automate the capture of information at the source.

1991

Stars Information Solutions Opens First Office

Stars Information Solutions began operations in 1991. When we first started, we were primarily a micrographics company focused on microfilming documents for businesses and governments.

1997

Stars Partners with Digitech Systems, Inc.

In 1997, we became a certified reseller and implementor of Digitech Systems, Inc. document management software. By this time, electronic document management had begun to replace microfilm as the preferred medium to store information.

2008

Stars Information Solutions Partners with FileBound.

In an effort to continue to provide the very best solutions to our customers, we partnered with FileBound to become a certified partner and implementor of their products. FileBound’s continual innovation, ease of deployment, customization and integration allow our clients to remain on the bleeding edge of ECM while saving money and increasing productivity.

Stars Information Solutions Becomes The ScanPro Dealer for the State of Texas

For several years, the e-ImageData ScanPro line of microfilm scanners had caught the attention of everyone at Stars Information Solutions. In November of 2012, we officially became the ScanPro dealer for the State of Texas by e-ImageData, Inc.

Stars Information Solutions Opens New Headquarters on Wetmore Road

Stars Information Solutions begins operations in it’s new state of the art, secure facility at 12813 Wetmore Road in San Antonio, Texas.

Dealer Retriever is Launched

After successfully creating document management solutions tailored specifically for dealerships, Stars Information Solutions establishes Dealer Retriever as a separate company to provide dedicated resources and software for the paper intensive challenges of the dealership world.
